Further to earlier speculation, Carley Consult is pleased to confirm that it has been named by the Department for Work & Pensions as the contractor to run the Merlin Standard pilot, the new accreditation for providers pertaining to the DWP Code of Conduct for supply chain management. The pilot, running over the next two years, will involve developing the new standard, designing the assessment framework, carrying out pilot assessments with DWP contractors, and developing a new provider information web portal.
We are delighted to be working directly with DWP for the first time. Merlin is the largest singular contract that Carley Consult has yet secured, and represents a key milestone in our diversification strategy into continuous improvement and quality assurance services. The pilot will be managed by Deborah Tillett, our recently appointed Head of Continuous Improvement Services. More details about the new pilot will appear on our website shortly.
